Gram Samvaad – Government of India’s Citizen-centric mobile app, providing single-window access by citizens to information at the Gram Panchayat level for all programs of the Government of India’s Ministry of Rural Development.
The app covers all 7 programs of the Ministry of Rural Development as also Information on the Grants to Local Bodies recommended by the 14th Finance Commission.
It was created with the objective to provide information and transparency and increase accountability in the implementation of various Government of India programs that provide support to rural development.
